Can Stowley auto-charge my clients every month?
Yes. Stripe Connect handles cards and ACH, and clients can save a payment method on file. Recurring billing schedules generate invoices on a cadence you set and auto-charge the saved method on the due date.
Do you track items, units, or both?
Both. Items live in a warehouse → zone → aisle → bin hierarchy, so 'unit 204' is just one location label among many. You can track contents at the item level even for clients who rent a single unit.
What happens when an invoice goes unpaid?
Invoices automatically flip to past-due once their due date passes. Aging buckets (0–30, 31–60, 61+) show up on your reports dashboard so you can chase the right accounts first.
Can my clients log in and see their own stuff?
Yes. Every client gets a private portal scoped to only their items, with their own gallery, pull-request form, inbound-request form, and direct-message thread with your team.
Do we need barcode scanners or special hardware?
No. Stowley uses QR codes you print on standard label stock and scans them through any phone camera. There's no app to install for staff or for clients.
What about branding — can clients see Stowley's name?
On the Enterprise plan, the portal, favicon, and email branding are fully white-labeled with your logo, colors, and reply-to address. Clients see your brand, not ours.
