Do we need a barcode scanner?
No. Stowley uses QR codes on standard labels and the phone camera does the scanning. No hardware to buy, no driver to install.
Can we bill ongoing contracts automatically?
Yes. Recurring billing generates a monthly invoice on the billing day you set, with daily rates prorated, and Stripe auto-charges the saved method when each is due.
How do we track damage and missing items?
Every scan, return, and condition note is logged in the per-item history; add return-condition photos to the request for full proof on damage claims.
Can crews use this with bad signal?
The mobile workspace is built for phones and warns you the moment the browser is offline, so nothing is silently lost. Saves need a connection, so finish the scan once signal returns.
Can we keep a card on file for damage charges?
Yes. Stripe stores the card, and you can charge it later for damage, late returns, or add-ons without re-asking the client.
