Upload a CSV
Export from your current tool, upload it under Inventory → Bulk add, and review the column mapping. Unknown columns become custom fields.
Migration
Bring your inventory and client list from a spreadsheet, Sortly, or Extensiv. Map columns once, preview, and commit. If you'd rather not touch a CSV, send us the export and we'll do it.
Three paths
Export from your current tool, upload it under Inventory → Bulk add, and review the column mapping. Unknown columns become custom fields.
Skip the invoice history. Add a starting-balance invoice for each client that owes you, and recurring billing takes over from there.
Send your export and we import it into your workspace, then review it together on a call. Included with Premium and Enterprise onboarding.
Templates
The templates show every column Stowley understands, with an example row. Your own export works too: headers are matched loosely, and these sources are recognized outright.
Sortly
Export from Sortly → Reports → Inventory, then upload the CSV as-is.
Extensiv (3PL Warehouse Manager)
Run the Stock Status or Item report, export to CSV, and upload it.
Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable
Any sheet with one row per item. Column names are matched loosely; unknowns become custom fields.

Order of operations
Import your client list so every item has somewhere to belong. Each client gets a portal code automatically.
Upload the inventory CSV. Items link to clients by name, locations are created as needed, and photos come along from URLs.
Add starting-balance invoices for anything owed, set each client's storage rate, and turn on auto-pay where cards are on file.
