Client Portal

One Branded Portal for Everything You Hold for a Client

Clients sign in with a code you give them and see their items, their invoices, and their requests. They can look, pay, and ask without emailing your office. Branded to you, scoped to them.

What clients come for

The three calls the portal takes for you

Most client calls are one of three questions. What do you have of mine? What do I owe you? Can you get it to me by Friday? The portal answers all three, at any hour, without your team.

01

See everything you're holding for them

The Items tab is a live gallery of their collection: photos, dimensions, declared value, condition, and whether each piece is in storage, checked out, or on its way. They search it and filter by project instead of asking you to go look.

  • Gallery or table view, with search and filters by project, category, status, and condition
  • A detail page per item with photos, dimensions, and its history
  • Condition photos and damage maps when you turn them on (Advanced and up)
  • You choose which item fields the portal shows
02

Pay you without picking up the phone

Every invoice you send shows up in the portal with its status, due date, and a branded PDF. Clients pay by card or bank account through Stripe, save a card, and turn on auto-pay so monthly storage charges itself.

  • Card and ACH payments through Stripe, marked paid the moment funds clear
  • Saved cards, with a default for one-click checkout
  • Auto-pay for recurring storage, with a receipt emailed every cycle
  • Invoices and receipts can go to a billing contact instead of, or as well as, the client
  • Card numbers never touch Stowley or your servers
03

Ask for a pull, a delivery, or a drop-off

Clients submit a request from the Requests tab, attach the items and any notes, and watch it move from submitted to scheduled to done. Inbound works the same way: they tell you what's coming, with photos and dimensions, before the truck shows up.

  • Pull, delivery, and inbound requests, plus on-site jobs like cleaning, inspection, and install
  • Inbound declarations with photos, dimensions, and condition notes
  • Delivery windows picked from the availability you publish
  • Live status from submitted through completed, with edits allowed until you schedule it

Also in the portal

Everything else your clients need

Messages

Conversations tied to the client's account, or to one specific item. Your team replies from the office or the phone, and the client gets an email the moment you do.

Documents

Contracts, insurance certificates, and anything else you share with a client, plus a place for them to upload theirs.

Updates

A timeline of every event on their account: invoices paid, requests scheduled, condition photos added, items moved.

Email and text notifications

Invoice issued, paid, and past due. Request scheduled, in progress, and completed. New messages. All branded with your company name. On Advanced and up, clients can also opt in to text updates from their portal.

Projects

Items grouped by project, the way designers and estate managers think. Flip one setting and clients can manage their own projects.

Works on a phone

No app to install. The portal is a URL that works in any browser, so clients can pay an invoice or check a photo from wherever they are.

Branding and access

Yours, not ours

Carries your name, not Stowley's

Your company name on every plan. Premium and up makes it fully yours and removes Stowley entirely: your logo and brand color, a custom portal URL, your favicon, your banner and reply-to on every email, and a welcome message in your own words.

One access code per client

Add a client and Stowley generates a six-character code. Hand it to the owner, their designer, or their assistant. No passwords, no accounts, no email verification. Rotate it from your office app the moment you want it gone.

  • Every request re-checks the code server-side and returns only that client's data
  • Lockout after repeated failed attempts

Plans

What's on which plan

Advanced and up
Submitting requests and inbound declarations, condition photos and reports once you turn them on for the portal, Messages, and opt-in text updates.
Premium and up
Delivery windows, online payments and auto-pay, Documents, and full white-label branding.

FAQ

Portal questions, answered

How do my clients sign into the portal?
When you add a client in your office app, Stowley generates a unique 6-character access code. You share it however you like, they enter it once on the portal sign-in screen, and they're in. No passwords, no third-party accounts, no email verification. Rotate or revoke the code any time from the client's profile.
Can one client see another client's items or invoices?
No. Every portal request re-validates the access code server-side and returns only that client's records. There is no client-side filtering to bypass by editing a URL.
Is payment data secure?
Yes. All payments run through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Card and bank-account numbers never touch Stowley's servers. We store only the tokenized last four digits and the brand.
Can we white-label the portal with our own brand?
Every plan shows your company name. Premium and Enterprise make the portal fully yours and remove Stowley entirely: your logo and brand color, a custom portal URL like app.stowley.com/p/your-company, your favicon, your banner and reply-to address on every email, and a welcome message and footer in your own words.
Which plan do we need?
The portal comes with every plan as a view of items, invoices, and account history. On Advanced and up, clients can submit requests, read condition reports, and message your team. Delivery windows, documents, and paying online are on Premium and up.
